Veterinary Nurse

**Responsibilities**:

- **Animal Care**:

- Provide nursing care to injured or sick animals, including documentation, health checks, feeding, and grooming.
- Assist veterinarians with emergency and routine medical procedures.
- Administer treatments and medications under veterinary supervision.
- **Surgical Assistance**:

- Assist during surgical procedures, including preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative care.
- Perform dental prophylaxis and minor surgical procedures as directed by veterinarians.
- **Client Communication**:

- Provide guidance and education to pet owners regarding animal care, nutrition, and medications.
- Assist in addressing client concerns, ensuring clear communication of treatment plans and follow-up care.
- **Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients, including treatments, procedures, and follow-up information.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Degree or certification in veterinary nursing.
- **Experience**: Experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital is preferred.
- **Skills**: Strong communication, organizational, and animal handling skills. Proficiency in veterinary equipment and medical software.
