**Assignment Conditions**:
Procurement officer will be responsible about daily procurement activities, evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts, preparing reports maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, and maintaining accurate records. He/ she should be able to negotiate well and ensure that all purchases comply with company standards.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- High School/Diploma
- 3 -5 years relevant experience preferably in Facility management
**Responsibilities**:
› Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
› Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers
› Reviewing, comparing and analyzing products and services to be purchased
› Maintaining and updating supplier list and information such as contact details, qualifications, delivery times,
product ranges, etc.
› Maintain good relationships with suppliers and renegotiate payment terms and prices on a regular basis
› Initiate and keep track of orders.
› Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper delivery and storage.
› Work with team members to complete duties as needed.
› Monitor delivery times to ensure they are on time
› Prepare and distribute reports as per management request
› Update and maintain procurement reports and files.
› Maintain polite and professional communication with management, colleagues and other parties.
› Review and maintain the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date.
› Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation and information
› Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office is a must
› Ability to plan and priorities workloads to meet deadlines
› Ability to work in a busy office with constant interruptions
› Take initiatives to protect environment i.e by limiting printing and saving papers
› Complete all assigned trainings in due time
› Participate in office safety inspection
› Support other departments when needed
› Analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
**KPIs**:
› Ensure accuracy and integrity of offers and information.
› Cost saving.
› Strong communication and negotiation skills
› Average time to respond to queries
