We are hiring an IT Infrastructure Architect responsible for managing and optimizing the development and production IT infrastructure. The role involves re-engineering existing systems, adopting new technologies, and ensuring user requirements are met using the latest and most effective tools available in the IT market. Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinate with the Head of Enterprise Architecture to align architectural recommendations with the Group's strategy.
- Engage with internal managers and project owners to understand requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Build strong relationships with departments, units, and vendors to achieve organizational goals.
- Develop and implement Infrastructure Architecture based on industry standards and methodologies.
- Design and maintain an up-to-date Infrastructure Architecture to ensure seamless data propagation.
- Propose enterprise standards based on business needs and technology advancements.
- Ensure compliance with IT industry standards and information risk management policies.
- Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to implement enterprise standards.
- Monitor emerging technologies and promote their adoption in line with business requirements.
- Prepare and maintain documentation and standards for activities and user guides.
- Ensure compliance with IT security, internet, VPN security, BCP, and disaster recovery policies.
- Analyze and solve problems considering resource availability and long-term planning.
- Foster professional development for self and team members.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Location: Qatar with liaison with support functions at HQ.

Education/Experience Requirements:

- University graduate in Computer Science or related field with at least 4 years of experience in financial services and infrastructure architecture.

Required Special Skills:

- Self-driven with motivational and team-building skills.
- Strong experience in architectural design.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Effective leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Project management and documentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.

Operating Environment/Location:

- The position is based in Qatar with interaction with support functions at HQ.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- SIMILAR ROLE: 6 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Qatar ID (preferred)
