**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Handles the Company’s procurements and executes the purchase order process locally and internationally (issuing LPO through ERP system) in compliance with ISO 9001: 2008.
- Reviews material requests and coordinate with requester on any clarification.
- Prepares the Request for Quotations (RFQ) and solicits quotes from vendors (locally and internationally).
- Prospects for new purchasing accounts.
- Uses own discretion and proper judgment when negotiating with customers to close purchase orders.
- Calls, faxes, or mail to the vendor of all new purchase orders and perform follow-up on the delivery of the items until the completion of the purchase order.
- Contacts vendors to correct discrepancies with quantity and quality for orders.
- Identify potential suppliers and maintain good relationships with them that could help the company in meeting its needs for supplies.
- Expediting materials delivery by continuously communicating with suppliers and our company’s store person and assure that all the items are in good condition upon receipt and ensuring items are received in compliance with purchase orders in terms of quality, quantity, and specifications.
- Recommends processing of payment.
- Purchase the merchandise with the highest quality at the lowest possible price and in the correct amount.
- Prepares comparison sheet, and participates in the process of evaluating offers/proposals and determining successful vendors.
- Follow up on back orders and communicates to the concerned department the expected new delivery date.
- Conducts regular evaluations of vendors’ performance according to set criteria in order to establish reliable supply sources and alternative sources.
- Maintains and regularly updates a list of vendors who are sufficiently qualified to provide various types of services and supplies.
- Maintain and organize up-to-date records and file in order by segregation; document and computer base information.

**Salary**: From QAR5,000.00 per month
