We are looking for a **CPP Electrical Engineer **for one of our clients with the following details:
**Location: Doha AND Korea**

**Start Date: Jul 2024**

**End Date: Jun 2026**

**Work Status: Resident, Single**

Qualification and Experience Required:

- Qualification: Engineering degree in Electrical engineering.
- Experience: minimum 10 years' experience, in Electrical field in offshore Oil and Gas industry.
- Computer literate, especially in Electrical engineering software and AVEVA Electrical product.
- Strong leadership skills and good communication skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Familiar with "company general specifications" is a plus, and with relevant codes and standards,
- Language: fluent English,
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.

Accountabilities
- Ensure Engineering Dossier are delivered with a robust Electrical engineering definition and fit for purpose design that can be procured, fabricated, transported, installed, and operated safely, meeting the requirements of COMPANY standard, project basis of design, and SOR.
- Ensure assigned project tasks are well managed in accordance with the project execution plan and contractual requirements that includes:

- Thorough, efficient, and timely review of project Electrical discipline documents, realization of potential deviations to the standards, and challenge the design to achieve an optimize and fit for purpose outcome.
- Assisting to project studies and meetings related to the Electrical discipline as per project approved gate levels and design maturity.
- Identifying potential risks and scope changes, conducting initial impact assessment to provide detailed information to Electrical lead.

Activities
- Ensure Engineering Dossier delivered with a robust Electrical engineering definition and fit for purpose design that can be procured, fabricated, transported, installed, and operated safely, meeting the requirements of COMPANY standard, project basis of design, and SOR.
- Ensure and coordinate the proper realization of the Electrical design in compliance with COMPANY Standard, project specifications and procedures, time schedule, required level of quality and safety.
- Challenge EPCIC Contractor on the proposed design, oversee the development of the Electrical design including, design philosophy, equipment datasheets, sizing calculation, schematic drawings electrical cable engineering & layouts, lighting & earthing layouts, load list, tie-in list, interconnection drawings, bulk material etc.
- Check the quality of the engineering documents prepared by the Contractor.
- Experience with Electrical control system & power management system and interfaces
- Experience to handle Electrical part of Gas generator, Emergency generator.
- Should have experience of Electrical engineering for Living Quarters
- Have knowledge of ETAP and developing cases for various studies including protection system.
- Promote field technical optimization/cost savings, ensuring first that they are compliant with the project schedule and the contracts, liaising with the Electrical Lead.
- Identify Electrical engineering technical decisions to be made. Define and manage clear way forward for these decisions to be made and report to Electrical Lead.
- Work with weight control engineer and engineering team to ensure close weight monitoring and control of weight.
- Ensure close coordination with other disciplines on all engineering, constructability, and operational matters,
- Ensure that relevant feedback/lesson learned from previous similar projects are considered in the design performance.
- Support procurement engineering including TBEs.
- Vendor documents reviews for Electrical equipment and also for other packages.
- Assist in manufacture site visits/FAT of major equipment.
- Support fabrication and construction engineering on review of engineering documents, modification approval, non-conformity reviews and assist in closer of punch lists.
- Support project during installation and hookup stage and review/approval work-pack, review of red-marks
- Thorough, efficient, and timely review of project Electrical discipline documents, realization of potential deviations to the standards, and challenge the design to achieve an optimize and fit for purpose outcome.
- Ensure project documents related to the Electrical discipline are reviewed and commented in a timely manner and in accordance with COMPANY standards, project specification and contractual requirements.
- Identify any optimization / improvement in the design dossier to be implemented in the early stage of detailed design, promote, and encourage submissions of value engineering proposals.
- Promote fit for purpose design to reduce and to optimize planning and costs,
