**Job Summary**:
Lead Civil Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the structural integrity and stability of the projects, overseeing all aspects of the civil engineering process from design review and implementation to construction and quality control. He will guide and mentor junior engineers while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders to deliver exceptional results on time and within budget.

**Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to)**:

- Lead and manage the civil engineering team on assigned construction projects.
- Thoroughly review and interpret civil drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with codes and standards (e.g., ASCE, ASTM).
- Develop and implement comprehensive civil construction plans and procedures, including site preparation, excavation, drainage, utilities, and pavement.
- Collaborate closely with structural, architectural, and other engineers to guarantee seamless integration of civil elements.
- Oversee the construction of civil infrastructure, including foundations, retaining walls, roads, parking lots, and underground utilities.
- Identify and resolve civil engineering challenges during construction phases, implementing effective solutions while minimizing delays.
- Conduct routine quality control inspections, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation, including as-built drawings and geotechnical analysis reports.
- Manage project budgets and timelines for assigned civil work.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers on the team, fostering their professional growth.

**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in civil/structural engineering. with at least 5 years in a lead role.
- Proven expertise in structural analysis and design principles for various building types.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant building codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, IBC).
- Knowledge and experience with BIM software: Revit preferred, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

Regular, reliable attendance
- Stay updated on the latest civil engineering technologies and best practices.
- Must possess UPDA grade A
- Proven expertise in geotechnical analysis, site planning, design, and construction of civil infrastructure components.
- Proficient in civil engineering software, including surveying, drafting, and geotechnical analysis tools.

**Salary**: QAR5.00 - QAR6.00 per month
