**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Receptionist to join our team at a ladies-only beauty salon and spa.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming environment while ensuring exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting clients, managing appointments, answering inquiries, and assisting with various administrative tasks to support the seamless operation of the salon and spa.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Client Reception and Engagement:
- Welcome clients with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere.
- Provide personalized attention to clients, addressing their needs and concerns with a professional and empathetic approach.
- Assist clients in scheduling appointments, explaining available services, and recommending suitable treatments.
2. Appointment Management:
- Effectively manage the appointment booking system, ensuring accurate scheduling and minimizing scheduling conflicts.
3. Communication:
- Respond promptly and courteously to client questions and concerns, and escalate issues to the appropriate staff members when necessary.
4. Cash Handling and Point of Sale:
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the salon's POS system.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and maintain an organized record of financial transactions.
5. Administrative Support:
- Maintain organized client records, including contact information, preferences, and appointment history.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of retail products and spa supplies, coordinating restocking when necessary.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the salon's cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation.
6. Team Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with the salon and spa team to ensure a smooth flow of client services and appointments.
- Collaborate with service providers to address special requests, accommodate client preferences, and manage last-minute changes.
7. Promotions and Sales:
- Promote and upsell salon services, packages, and retail products to clients based on their needs and preferences.
- Stay updated on current promotions, services, and offerings to inform clients and encourage repeat business.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a salon, spa, or hospitality environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to engage with clients.
- Proficiency in using computer software for appointment scheduling and basic administrative tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and multitasking capabilities.
- Professional appearance and grooming in line with the salon's standards.
**Salary**: QAR2,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
