**Department**
PRODUCTION (REFINING)

**Primary purpose of job**
Operate assigned units safely through Distributed Control System (DCS) from Central Control Building (CCB) or other

control stations; monitor the process parameters, alarms and take appropriate corrective action to make on-spec product

and safe unit operation. Establish communication and coordinate with the Supervisor/ General Operator and Operator#1 for

safe start up, shutdown and emergencies of the assigned units.

**Experience & Skills**:

- 7 Years of operations experience in relevant units of Refinery / Chemical Plant.
- 2 Years technical training or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of basic arithmetic.
- Solid knowledge of DCS / Panel Operations.
- High level of concentration, anticipation, Surveillance / vigilance, and analysis skills.
- Firefighting/First Aid/BA/H2S training.
- Good oral and reading knowledge of English.

**Education**
Higher Secondary Certificate or Equivalent.
