Assistant/associate Professor in Materials Sciences

Teach different Materials Science graduate courses, such as, material principles and characterization, functional properties of materials, mechanics of materials, and advanced materials and composites.
- Teach Physics undergraduate courses, such as thermodynamics, and solid state physics.
- Advise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students in study, research, outreach, and professional development.
- Contribute in various committees at the department, college, and university levels and provide services to the University, profession, and community.
- Contribute to the research profile of the department and college through research activities, research grants, publications, collaborations with faculty within and across departments, industry, and worldwide researchers and institutions.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department.

**Qualifications**:

- PhD degree in Materials Science or related fields from a recognized/ranked university.
- BSc in Physics or Materials Science.
- Have at least three years of teaching and supervision experience at university level for both graduate and undergraduate levels.
- strong research record and research expertise in areas related to materials Science.
- Familiar with educational technologies used in the higher education sector.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills using the English language.

3. Teaching, research, and service philosophy.

5. Copy of highest earned credential (transcript of highest degree if graduated from an institution where course work was completed. However, if no coursework was completed, a copy of the certificate letter from the registrar of your highest credential granting institution regarding your highest academic degree).
