Driller (Geotechnical)

**Job Overview**:
**Must Have**: Qatar ID that can be transferred to our company sponsorship

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct geotechnical drilling and sampling activities in various terrains and conditions.
- Operate and maintain drilling equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency during operations.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of drilling assignments.
- Collect, record, and label soil samples following industry standards and company protocols.
- Ensure adherence to all local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues with drilling equipment as needed.
- Provide on-site reports and communicate findings with project engineers and geotechnical staff.
- Drill boreholes
- Assist the senior mechanic if needed to fix drilling rigs
- Carry out general field tests (SPT, DCPT)
- Ability to take drilling measurements and dimensions
- Supervise the work of his helpers
- Troubleshoot drilling and mechanical problems within his capabilities
- Oversee the overall execution of his duties and his helpers in a safe manner

**Requirements**:

- **Minimum Experience**: 5 years as a geotechnical driller within Qatar.
- **Qualifications**: High school diploma or equivalent
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in operating drilling rigs and associated equipment.
- **Language Proficiency**: Fluency in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
- **Physical Requirements**: Must be physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions for extended periods.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of local Qatari geotechnical standards and practices.

Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
