The Role
**Position**: Architectural Draftsman Location: Msheireb
- quality architectural drawings and plans, collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet client and project requirements, and adhering to industry standards. Studio Imara is an architecture practice based in Qatar, performing in the fields of spatial, building, and object design. The studio’s work attempts to propose alternative scales and environments within Qatar’s built-up and pastoral desert landscapes, in collaboration with local builders and manufacturers to explore material potentials. Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to): - Create 2Dand 3D drawings for project. - Obtain and assemble data to complete architectural designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary. - Draw rough and detailed scale plans for buildings and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, specification sheets and other data. - Draw precise details of architecture, interior and landscape. ensure technical drawings reflects local building codes and requirements. - Use Computer Aided Design and Drafting systems to prepare drawings. - Liaise & consult with other drafters, designers, construction supervisors and clients. - Seeks and provide creative designs and innovative solutions to assigned tasks and develops appropriate research and documents to support these solutions. - Contribute to project phases with detailed planning. - Coordinate drawing requirements for planning processes with design offices and other project stakeholders/authorities. - Act independently in organizing tasks within the given framework Education & Software: - Diploma/Bachelor degree in Architecture or any relevant degree. - excellent experience design drafting using Auto-CAD/ Revit ( both 2d/3d). - good knowledge in 3D modelling programs such as Rhino, Sketch Up. - Good in Adobe Suite programs and Microsoft.

**Required Skills**: - Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. - Has an eye and attention to detail. - Flexible and can work with mínimal supervision. - Planning and organizational skills. - Analytical skills and the ability to interpret information. - Knowledge of building methods and materials. - Maintains awareness of evolving building technology and systems - Has good work ethics and willingness to grow and learn Experience: - Architectural Draftsman: 5 years (required) - Experience as an architectural Draftsman. 4 years (required). - Proven track of previous projects License/Certification: - licensed architect in Qatar
