**Department**
ASSET INTEGRITY (DUKHAN)

**Primary purpose of job**
Undertake and supervise inspection of static equipment, pipeline and safety relief valves to establish conditions. Carry out

review of equipment and material specifications for safe operation of plant equipment.

1. Carry out inspection of new and existing static equipment and associated piping as per approved QATARENERGY

procedures and standards, assess the equipment integrity and report all findings in writing with

comments/recommendations for follow-up action.

2. Ensure that all recommendations and remedial action/repairs to existing equipment is implemented to maintain the

design integrity of the equipment prior to being put back into service.

5. Directly supervise all inspection and NDT testing of plant and equipment during normal working hours and shutdowns.

Duties involve site inspections, co-ordinate detailed work and monitor any problems that may arise. Directly report

inspection related issues to Sr. Plant Inspection Engineer (Oil & Gas) and Mechanical Engineer in order to conclude and

implement recommendations for equipment repair.

4. Utilize the RBI Inspection System for implementation of planning schedules for inspection and NDT of plant equipment.

Liaise with other departments to plan and confirm equipment availability, review all previous equipment historical inspection

and design data prior to equipment being taken out of service. After completion of all inspection/actions, update all

findings/data into RBMI System.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience in inspection of pressure containing plant preferably in Refinery, Chemical or Oil & Gas

Processing Plants
- Good knowledge in International Codes and Standards related in service inspection of pressure vessels, piping, etc.
- Good knowledge in welding technique, QA/QC procedures and NDT techniques
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Good knowledge and experience about Risk Based Inspection
- Reasonable work experience in SAP system
- Good analytical/creative skills and leadership skills
- Computer literate

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or in Metallurgy plus corporate membership in

appropriate Engineering Institution
- API/ASNT/PCN/CSWIP certification or equivalent
