- Do you know how to keep an eye out for and avoid risk? Are you skilled at assessing processes and making improvements?
- We're looking for IT Security and Control Specialist to:
- oversee vulnerability management controls, supporting engineers and product owners with the remediation plans
- propose, create and produce metrics for management reporting
- make sure identified vulnerabilities are remediated in a disciplined, timely and efficient manner
- assist with executing the process which support the assessment of the effectiveness of the Group Technology

control environment- analyse and understand the controls framework across Group Technology
- build trusted relationships with business partners to identify and understand risk related issues
- assist with monitoring and assessment of the respective risk management and control framework, review control function outcomes and audits
- rapidly understand and use different risk-related data and toolsets
- develop meaningful partnerships by engaging with both functionally-aligned technology risk stakeholders and central infrastructure and operations teams
- establish and maintain an effective culture of risk management
- perform risk issue analysis, including identification and root cause of the control failures.
- support the implementation of the firm’s risk framework within Group Technology.
- assist the wider Group Technology community in understanding and implementing effective controls

- You'll be working in the CDIO WMPC Control Team in Qatar. The team is fully responsible for Control Execution across CDIO WMPC. Diversity helps us grow, together. - a university degree, ideally in computer science or information technology
- prior working experience (3+ years) in the IT Security field, in vulnerability management is a plus
- strong analytical skills with a technical background
- excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- experience in IT risk management, compliance or audit
- an understanding of operational risk management and implementation in practice or have a strong interest to develop expertise in this area
- experience in data analysis, validation and presentation of results (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Tableau, Alteryx) is a plus
