Répondre et traiter les demandes de réparation des clients. Communiquer avec les clients afin de résoudre les problèmes de maintenance. Effectuer l’entretien préventif des outils et de l’équipement de la cuisine et de la chambre des appareils mécaniques, y compris le nettoyage et la lubrification. Inspecter visuellement les outils, l’équipement ou les machines. Transporter de l’équipement (p. ex., outils, radio). Identifier, localiser et actionner toutes les vannes d’arrêt de l’équipement et toutes les manettes de fermeture des services publics pour les bâtiments. Maintenir les stocks requis pour l’entretien et commander les pièces et les fournitures nécessaires. Communiquer les activités et les problèmes qui se produisent chaque jour aux autres équipes à l’aide des normes et des programmes de communication approuvés. Avoir des connaissances de base ou la capacité d’acquérir ces connaissances dans les catégories suivantes : climatisation et réfrigération, électricité, mécanique, plomberie, systèmes et contrôles pneumatiques et électroniques, menuiserie et finition, matériel de cuisine, véhicules, conservation de l’énergie et en bâtiment. Effectuer toute la préparation de surfaces, la peinture, les réparations mineures aux plaques de plâtre et aux boiseries, le remplacement des ampoules et des filtres de climatiseur, et le nettoyage complet et minutieux des zones de peinture ou de réparation. Tester, dépanner et effectuer les réparations de base sur tous les types d’équipement, de plomberie (p. ex., déboucher les toilettes et les drains), les composants électriques, y compris les lampes, les articles cosmétiques, les rallonges électriques, les aspirateurs, les appareils Internet, remplacer les interrupteurs et les prises électriques, et autres articles des chambres de clients. Programmer les téléviseurs et effectuer des tâches d’entretien général et d’inventaire ayant trait à l’ingénierie. Utiliser le système de cadenassage avant d’effectuer des travaux d’entretien. Effectuer les réparations à l’aménagement paysager intérieur et extérieur ainsi que les gicleurs de l’aménagement paysager extérieur. Avoir des compétences informatiques de base, y compris la saisie des horaires des appareils de traitement d’air et effectuer les changements de température.

Suivre toutes les politiques et procédures de l’entreprise; signaler les problèmes d’entretien, conditions de travail dangereuses, accidents et les blessures; réussir la formation et les certifications de sécurité; et stocker les matériaux inflammables selon les consignes de sécurité. S’assurer de porter un uniforme de travail propre et complet; avoir une apparence soignée et professionnelle en tout temps sur les lieux de travail; respecter la confidentialité dans la diffusion d’informations propres à la bannière et/ou à l’hôtel et protéger tous les biens de la compagnie. Accueillir et saluer tous les clients selon les normes de l’entreprise; anticiper et traiter les besoins de service des clients; aider les personnes handicapées et remercier les clients en leur témoignant une véritable reconnaissance. Respecter des exigences et des standards de qualité. Développer des relations professionnelles positives et constructives avec vos pairs; s’unir et s’entraider afin d’atteindre les buts communs; écouter et répondre de façon appropriée aux problèmes des autres employés. Utiliser un langage clair et courtois lors de toute communication. Déplacer, soulever, porter, pousser, tirer et placer des objets pesant moins de 50 livres (22,7 kg) sans assistance et des objets pesant plus avec assistance. Monter et descendre les escaliers, les rampes de service et les échelles. Atteindre les objets au-dessus de la tête et au-dessous des genoux, y compris se plier, faire des rotations du corps, tirer et se baisser. Entrer et trouver de l’information en lien avec le travail en utilisant des ordinateurs. S’acquitter d’autres tâches d’emploi raisonnables lorsqu’elles sont demandées.

QUALIFICATIONS RECOMMANDÉES

Niveau d’études:Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalence de niveau secondaire et expérience professionnelle ou technique recommandés.

Expérience de travail connexe:Expérience en entretien général, préparation et peinture de surfaces intérieures et extérieures.

Une expérience en maintenance/ingénierie hôtelière est un atout.

Expérience de supervision:Aucune expérience de supervision.
