We are looking for a Marine Pilot for our client based in Qatar. They have a strong reputation for delivering exceptional marine pilotage services to vessels calling at their operated ports. They are committed to ensuring safe navigation, efficient harbour movements, and seamless offshore Single Point Mooring (SPM) operations. As part of their team, you will play a crucial role in guiding vessels of various types through the port facilities.

Provide marine pilotage services to vessels calling at the port, including approaches, channels navigation, harbour movements, and offshore Single Point Mooring (SPM).

Utilize your minimum 10 years of sea-going experience as an officer of the watch, with at least 5 years on large-size vessels (VLCC, Capesize) as Chief Officer or Master.

Demonstrate detailed knowledge of international, state, and local regulations pertaining to port operations, logistics, and International Maritime Conventions (SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, etc.).

Ensure compliance with port rules, regulations, policies, and procedures related to operations and activities.

Promote a culture of safety by leveraging your extensive knowledge of occupational hazards and implementing necessary safety precautions.

Collaborate with a dedicated team of maritime and port professionals, contributing to a focused and goal-oriented work environment.
