**GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS**

**Instructions to Applicants**
- The selection for the post will be solely based on the basis of their performance in the interview.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform welding and fabrication tasks on automotive components, parts, frames, and bodies using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, spot welding, etc.).

Analyze and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements and procedures.

Inspect and prepare automotive surfaces for welding, including cleaning, grinding, and cutting as necessary.

Select appropriate welding equipment, tools, and materials based on the specific job requirements.

Set up and operate welding machines and tools, ensuring proper settings and adherence to safety protocols.

Conduct quality inspections of welded automotive structures to identify defects, imperfections, or deviations from specifications.

Repair or modify automotive parts, frames, bodies, or structures as per the given requirements.

Collaborate with other automotive technicians, mechanics, or engineers to resolve welding-related issues or challenges.

Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with welding standards and regulations.

Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work area cleanliness and perform routine maintenance as needed.

Stay updated on advancements in automotive welding techniques, equipment, and materials.

**Requirements**:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as an automobile welder or in a similar welding role.

Proficiency in various welding methods, such as MIG, TIG, spot welding, and oxy-acetylene welding.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality welds.

Physical stamina and the ability to work in various positions and environments.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Knowledge of automotive construction, components, and systems.

Understanding of safety procedures and adherence to safety regulations.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
