**Resident Engineers (Azure/MS365)**

**Responsibilities**:
1. Azure Infrastructure Management:

- Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure virtual machines, networks, and other infrastructure components.
- Monitor and optimize Azure resources for performance and cost efficiency, with strong experience in Application Modernization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Azure-related issues.
- Manage Azure SQL DB and Cosmos DB environments
- Disaster Recovery using Azure ASR

2. Microsoft 365 Administration:

- Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
- Configure and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
- Design, implement and manage hybrid On-prem Exchange/M365 solutions

3. Azure and M365 Integration:

- Integrate Azure and Microsoft 365 services for seamless operation.
- Implement and manage Azure Active Directory synchronization with on-premises systems.
- Ensure secure and efficient data flow between Azure and M365.

4. Security and Compliance:

- Implement security best practices and compliance policies within Azure and M365 environments.
- Monitor for security threats and vulnerabilities, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
- Implement access controls such as Azure RBAC to restrict access to resources and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as NIA, Qatar cyber security framework or Qatar Cloud Security Policy, etc.

5. Documentation:

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for Azure and M365 configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-500) is a must.
- Microsoft 365 certifications (e.g., MS-100, MS-101, MS-500) is a must.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing and managing Azure and Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
