Track Engineer

Delivering a safe and reliable passenger service with a specific focus on safety, engineering, maintenance (level 1 to 3) and asset management for the following systems (summarized):

- Depot and line Track form / P-Way
- Roadworks (within track / line dynamic gauge) / Earthworks & Formations whenever applicable

**Mobilization phase**:
During the mobilization phase the Track Maintenance Engineer will have the following responsibilities with regards to the systems and assets falling under their expertise:

- Ensure all the manufacturer and suppliers D&B documentation is provided on time and is up to standard, with a specific focus on maintainability
- Ensure risk analysis and method statements are issued prior to trial running and trial operations
- Ensure processes, spares and tools are in place prior to trial running and trial operations
- Provide guidance to the Maintenance Management Information system (MMS) configuration and implementation, with a specific focus on first line response time
- Participate in testing and commissioning in liaison with the mobilization team with a specific attention to the quality of work and maintainability

**Operations phase**:
During the operations phase the Track Maintenance Engineer will have the following responsibilities with regards to the systems and assets falling under his expertise:

- Manage staff and maintenance to deliver safe and reliable assets
- Perform training needs analysis and address staff competencies on an ongoing basis
- Carry out safety critical competence assessments (or work towards doing so)
- Propose enhanced KPR/KPIs with regards to the assets under his/her responsibility
- Liaise with external stakeholders (Infrastructure manufacturers and suppliers, subcontractors, third parties) as and when required
- Liaise with technical experts and engineers across the group and play a proactive role in networking to share good practice and facilitate two-way knowledge transfer
- Contribute to the ISO 55001, ISO 9000 and 14000 Certification for area of expertise

**Salary**: QAR14,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Maintenance of Railway infrastructures: 8 years (required)
- Tram Operation procedures: 8 years (required)
- MAXIMO or any similar MMS/CMMS: 8 years (required)

- Doha (required)
