**Project Manager**

**Position Overview**

Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluation projects according to predetermine timelines and budgets. Building and managing project teams, reporting to Client, and ensure quality control throughout project life cycles are major duties for this position

Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and client standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.

Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

1) Manage project development from initiation to closure

2) Be accountable for project results along with Client (EMPLOYER)

3) Work with EMPLOYER/CONSULTANT to complete project contract outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing

4) Lead, train and motivate project engineers, supervisors and technicianson a proactive basis

5) Improves overall performance for engineers, supervisors and technicians, maintain work systems and the method of works procedures

7) Prepare all method of statement for project construction activities

8) Prepare the required material technical specification submittal for each project, assuring compliance with project specification and drawing

9) Provide a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed

10) Study each new initiated variation order and evaluate its time impact

11) Follow up project activities and prepare project management schedules (progress works, financial report, contract duration against remain activities)

12) Plan, organize, develop, direct, control and evaluate the activities and operations of our subcontractors, engineers, supervisors, programmers, analysts and other employers

13) Follow-up on contractual events (disruptions, variations, Extension of time) and coordinate with the planning engineers to evaluate the accurate impact on the contractual planning and the overall budget, and escalate it promptly.

14) Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request form

15) Assign, leases and review our work with relevant government authorities, public relation cells, municipalities and others

16) Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task

17) Resolve any issue and solve problems through project life cycle

18) Inspects delivered material on site to ensure compliance with client approval

19) Track material stock and take a corrective action to evade project activities progress

20) Track and report on project milestones and provide status report to EMPLOYER

21) Coordinate with planning engineer to prepare project baseline schedule including the relevant needed project resources (Human and equipments)

22) Prepare weekly report for the project percent, labor, cost vs. budget and subcontractors

23) Prepare monthly report for project percentage completed, cost of materials used and labor cost to monitor and control project’s budget.

24) Prepare the provisional and final payment acceptance certificate

25) Prepare all project closeout documents required to handling over projects according to Client/ Contract requirements such as, As Built and Operation and Maintenance manuals

26) Ensure the implementation of the quality control/safety procedures for installation works of each and every activity

**Skill Requirements**

1) University Degree, Electrical/ Mechanical Engineer

2) UPDA Certified

3) Understand MEP Construction Technology

4) Have a sound knowledge with international codes & specification

5) Work well in a team or as a team leader

6) Minimum 10 years as Project Manager experience within an Electrical/Mechanical or MEP companies, infrastructure projects would be advantage

7) Multi tasking, self motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.

8) Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills

9) Computer skilled in Microsoft office

10) Very Good command of written and spoken English.

11) Middle East/Gulf experience would be an advantage.

12) Must be available in Qatar with NOC

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From QAR15,000.00 per month
