Job Objectives:

- You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying, and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of high-quality software solutions that meet the specific requirements of the SPM Buoy construction project.

**Responsibilities**:
**Test Planning and Design**:

- Collaborate with the project team to understand the software requirements, technical specifications, and unique challenges related to the SPM Buoy construction project.
- Design test cases and test scenarios that cover the functionalities, interfaces, and integrations crucial for the successful operation of the SPM Buoy.

**Test Execution and Defect Management**:

- Identify, document, and report software defects and issues using a bug tracking system, ensuring clear and concise documentation of steps to reproduce and potential impact.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to investigate and analyze defects, providing necessary information and insights to facilitate timely resolution.

**Test Automation**:

- Identify opportunities for test automation within the context of the SPM Buoy construction project and develop automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Execute and maintain automated test scripts to enhance efficiency and coverage of software testing.
- Continuously improve and update test automation frameworks to keep pace with the evolving requirements of the SPM Buoy construction project.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders involved in the SPM Buoy construction, to understand requirements and address quality concerns.
- Participate actively in project meetings, providing regular updates on test progress, defect status, and overall quality metrics specific to the SPM Buoy construction project.
- Effectively communicate testing status, issues, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and facilitating decision-making.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software quality assurance, particularly in the context of construction projects and offshore structures like the SPM Buoy.
- Continuously enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy of software testing within the SPM Buoy construction project.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance standards and practices that are specific to the unique requirements of the SPM Buoy construction project.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Create and maintain accurate and detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test reports, and any project-specific testing artifacts related to the SPM Buoy construction.
- Generate comprehensive test summary reports, highlighting key findings, insights, and recommendations for stakeholders involved in the SPM Buoy construction project.
- Contribute to the development of project-specific documentation, such as user manuals or operational guides, ensuring alignment with quality standards and user requirements.

Qualifications:
**Education & Professional Qualification**:

- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (e.g., Mechanical, Civil, or Marine Engineering) is preferred., or a related field is preferred.

**Professional Experience**:

- Previous experience in design engineering or drafting for SPM Buoys or similar offshore structures is advantageous.

**Job Types**: Temporary, Contract

**Salary**: Up to QAR18,200.00 per month
