HVAC Technician and Supervisor

Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Technician and Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing HVAC system installations, maintenance, and repairs. You will also provide supervision and guidance to a team of HVAC technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and excellent customer service.

**Responsibilities**:
Supervision and Leadership:

- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of HVAC technicians.
- Assign tasks and projects, ensuring proper distribution of workload.
- Monitor and oversee the technicians' performance and productivity.
- Train and mentor technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

HVAC System Installation and Upgrades:

- Oversee the installation of HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Ensure installations comply with design specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and clients to schedule and plan installations.
- Review and approve installation plans, material orders, and equipment selections.
- Provide technical support and guidance to technicians during installations.

Maintenance and Repair:

- Perform complex maintenance and repair tasks on HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions and failures.
- Supervise technicians in conducting routine maintenance and inspections.
- Review and approve maintenance procedures and checklists.
- Ensure timely response and resolution for customer service calls.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular quality checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of work.
- Review documentation and records to ensure proper recording of work performed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and standards to maintain compliance.

Customer Service and Communication:

- Interact with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Communicate effectively with clients, technicians, and other team members.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients regarding system upgrades and maintenance.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare reports on team performance, project status, and customer feedback.
- Document equipment specifications, work performed, parts used, and warranties.
- Ensure proper documentation for billing, warranty claims, and compliance purposes.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in HVAC or a related field is a plus.
- Relevant HVAC certifications and licenses
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician, including experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, controls, and installation practices.
- Strong technical skills and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC issues.
- Familiarity with electrical and refrigeration principles.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver's license added advantage
- Valid QID or NOC required
