**General Description**:As an IT Admin cum ERP Implementer, your responsibilities span from overseeing the daily operations of the IT department to structuring and optimizing its framework. You will be pivotal in defining standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline processes, ensuring efficient IT infrastructure management. This involves assessing current workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices to enhance system performance and reliability. Additionally, your role extends to strategic planning, where you'll design and implement initiatives to align IT operations with organizational objectives. This may include structuring the IT department to support ERP implementation, ensuring seamless integration between systems, and establishing protocols for data migration and system monitoring. Your expertise in IT administration will be instrumental in establishing a robust framework that supports the company's growth and scalability. By structuring the IT department and SOPs, you'll lay the foundation for efficient IT operations, ultimately contributing to the organization's success and competitiveness in the market.
**Job & Responsibilities**:
**Strategic Responsibilities**:
**1. **IT Infrastructure Management Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, aligning with long-term business goals and objectives.
**2. **ERP Implementation Strategy: Lead the development and execution of strategies for the successful implementation of ERP systems, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and priorities.
**3. **IT Department Structuring: Develop strategic plans for structuring the IT department, defining roles, responsibilities, and reporting structures to support organizational objectives.
**Operational Responsibilities**:
**4. **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT processes and workflows to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
**5. **Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software systems.
**6. **Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
**7. **Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access or cyber threats.
**8. **Implement regular backups, system updates, and maintenance to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
**9. **Manage IT assets, including inventory management, procurement, and lifecycle management of hardware and software.
**10. **Assess current IT workflows, identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
**11. **ERP System Implementation: Manage the operational aspects of ERP implementation, including requirements gathering, system configuration, customization, testing, and deployment.
**12. **Structure the IT department to support ERP implementation, allocating resources and responsibilities effectively to facilitate seamless integration and implementation.
**Team Management Responsibilities**:
**13. **IT Support Team Leadership: Lead and manage the IT support team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure effective technical support and problem resolution for end-users.
**14. **Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders from different departments, to gather requirements, define system specifications, and ensure successful ERP implementation.
**15. **Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for IT team members and end-users, including developing training materials and conducting training sessions to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and processes.
**Work Experience Requirements**:
- Previous roles in IT administration, managing servers, networks, and providing technical support.
- Experience leading or participating in ERP implementation projects, configuring ERP systems.
- Ability to plan and execute IT projects within timelines and budgets, coordinating teams.
- Understanding of business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions.
- Commitment to staying updated with technology and industry trends, and willingness to learn.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment is crucial.
**Education Requirements**:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is often required.
- Certifications related to IT administration or ERP systems can be beneficial. Examples include CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or certifications specific to the ERP software being implemented.
Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month
