**SEN Facilitator - An Exciting Opportunity in a Leading International School**
- We are looking for an outstanding **SEN Facilitator** to join a well-established, supportive team in a highly successful and expanding school.**About the School**
- Nord Anglia International School Al Khor (NAISAK) is a 3-18 through school with more than 1,200 pupils currently on roll. Our primary section consists of approximately 750 students aged 3-11 across four-form entry. Located in the vibrant town of Al Khor, just 35 minutes north of Doha, Qatar’s capital, we educate both local and expat students through a dynamic Primary curriculum that integrates the English National Curriculum with elements of Qatar’s Ministry of Education curriculum. - We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated **SEN Facilitator** to join our inclusive learning environment. As a key member of the Special Educational Needs (SEN) team, you will work closely with teachers, and the Head of Inclusion to support students with a range of additional needs. Your role will focus on helping students overcome barriers to learning, promoting independence, and ensuring each child reaches their full potential.**Key Responsibilities**
- **In-Class Support**: Collaborate with teachers to assist students with additional learning needs in mainstream classrooms, tailoring activities to meet individual needs.
- **1:1 and Small Group Interventions**: Provide targeted support to students with learning needs through specialised programs.
- **Behaviour and Engagement Strategies**: Implement behaviour plans and support positive engagement, especially for students with ADHD or behavioural challenges.
- **Communication Support**: Facilitate communication for students with hearing impairments using appropriate tools and methods, such as visual aids and assistive technology.
- **Resource Preparation**: Adapt and prepare learning resources, including sensory tools or visual schedules, to support students with autism and other needs.
- **Emotional and Social Support**: Guide students in developing social skills and emotional regulation through structured and informal activities.
- We are looking for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and has experience supporting students with a range of additional needs.**Essential Qualifications & Skills**:

- Experience working with students with special needs.
- An understanding of strategies to support students with special needs in both academic and social settings
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists
- **Fluency in written and spoken English**
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards helping students overcome challenges
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping and reporting

**Desirable Qualifications & Skills**:

- Degree or diploma in education, special education, or a related field
- Experience working in a culturally diverse, international setting
