Smd Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- **Operation and Maintenance of Advanced SMD Equipment**: Operate and maintain advanced Surface-Mount Device (SMD) machines, including Reflow Ovens, Stencil Printers, and Pick-and-Place Machines, ensuring high accuracy in mounting electronic components.
- **Technical Design and Planning**: Collaborate with engineering teams to design efficient mounting strategies, and plan SMD placement for complex circuit boards using tools like Altium Designer or Cadence.
- **Quality Assurance and Inspection**: Perform thorough quality checks and automated inspection (AOI) to verify the proper placement of SMD components, ensuring that all components meet required specifications.
- **Process Optimization**: Continuously analyze production processes to improve SMD placement and soldering operations, reducing defects and optimizing throughput.
- **Failure Analysis and Reporting**: Troubleshoot issues related to placement errors, soldering defects, and misalignments, creating detailed reports to inform improvements.
- **Technical Documentation**: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including test results, inspection reports, and process improvement logs.
- **Team Leadership**: Provide training and leadership to junior technicians, ensuring adherence to process standards and promoting team efficiency.
- **Tool Maintenance and Calibration**: Perform regular maintenance and calibration of SMD machines, ensuring optimal performance and preventing production downtimes.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Diploma** in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of SMD assembly techniques and SMD machine operations.
- Proficient in circuit board design and PCB layout software like Altium Designer.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex troubleshooting tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced production environment with strict quality standards.

Pay: QAR1,300.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
