Senior Creative Designer

We are looking for an experienced, thorough, and insightful Senior Designer who will be advocate and inspire great ideas. He/she will be responsible for the (i) creation, conception, and implementation of design concept as directed by HOD, includes but not limited to, corporate Identity, branded communications and corporate design and general marketing communications. (ii) creation of visual style of brand marketing initiatives, and create the overall design direction for a project, and also direct others who develop artwork or layouts, (iii) contribution and creation of artwork and assets for visual marketing communications based on stakeholders’ requirements and brand guidelines and (IV) proactively conceptualise, plan and execute new creative initiatives to benefit the brands.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Participate in design discussions and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to take ideas from concept to execution, working with project managers, design teams, and information technologists.
- Provide conceptual ideas and execute design and brand related solutions for clients
- To take complex briefs from the account team and clients
- Show sound judgment and ability to provide information toward the determination of design direction
- Develop new ways to visualize and document design and brand concepts
- Present concepts to clients and supporting design teams as required
- Support the coordination of projects and facilitate communications with the various project and production teams
- To provide expert input to develop appropriate designs with regard to cost/value
- Monitor schedules for projects at all phases of development
- Keep up to date and show passion, awareness and understanding of new design trends

**Skills & Experience**
- College degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Creative Designer
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid networking and interpersonal skills
- Portfolio of work showing the breadth of design capabilities across branding, advertising, events etc
- Ability to produce and understanding of all aspects of artwork and production techniques
- A keen eye for visual details, with a good understanding of visual design principles.
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with team members.
- Experience in the design thinking process, agile development, and lean start-up methodologies.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience working directly with developers to implement designs.
- Expertise with standard digital design tools, Adode Creative Cloud etc.
- Photo and video editing expertise.
- Able to effectively communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience
- Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately
- Able to exercise high degree of professionalism and can work accurately under pressure to meet tight deadlines, always aware of budgets and time spent
- Demonstrate awareness and understanding of cultural differences
- A team player with a good sense of humour

**Salary**: QAR16,000.00 - QAR20,000.00 per month
