You will be working as Project Manager and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based in Doha; Qatar. In this role you will be reporting to Local Division Operations Manager and will be responsible to lead the execution of medium-size projects & services and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.

**This position reports to**:
Local Dvision Operations Mgr,PAEN, Qatar

**Your responsibilities**:

- Lead the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, and motivating and
- monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones. Provide performance feedback
- regarding allocated resources working on projects.
- Plan project execution from start to finish, including all necessary resources, activities, documents, materials, including
- scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans. Periodically review project plan and analyze critical
- issues for correction.
- Ensure that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies. Effectively monitor and control project progress
- and efficient resource utilization.
- Monitor and controls project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expense and cash flow. Identify,
- qualifies, quantify, and manage project risks, and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued. Capture,
- analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project.
- Ensure that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with ABB policies and
- contractual agreements.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain Management, and successfully procures required services, materials and equipment for
- the project from external and internal suppliers. Support Supply Chain Management in supplier negotiations, claims and
- project changes.
- Act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues; build and maintain strong relationships with

- internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders. Assure ABB commitments to
- customer are met, in accordance with contract. Uses CCRP to collect and manage customer dissatisfaction.
- Monthly present an account of project status/issues in project reviews. Report status/ progress report to customer and
- other stake holders with appropriate detail. Raise potential project issues to relevant stake holders.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Good to have domain experience in ABB Automation and Electrification business for Oil and Gas.
- Minimum 12year experience in engineering & managing automation services / projects in ABB Oil & Gas stream
- Must be open to travel, as it involves 40% of site visits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
