**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement Management**:

- Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery capabilities.
- Place orders with suppliers for goods and services required by the company.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and manage the purchasing process from order initiation to product delivery.
- **Supplier Relationship Management**:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the continuous supply of goods.
- Resolve any issues related to supply chain disruptions, quality issues, or delays in delivery.
- Maintain supplier records and communicate frequently to ensure mutual satisfaction.
- **Inventory Control**:

- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with relevant departments to forecast future purchasing needs.
- Track stock levels and ensure that procurement orders are placed on time to prevent shortages.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and coordinate stock replenishment.
- **Cost Management**:

- Analyze market trends and conduct price comparisons to ensure competitive pricing.
- Monitor and track purchasing expenditures to stay within budget.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and cost-saving strategies.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase records, including order details, contracts, and supplier correspondence.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and inventory status for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as any relevant legal or regulatory requirements.
- **Collaboration and Coordination**:

- Work closely with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Logistics, and Production) to ensure procurement requirements align with operational needs.
- Support the finance team in managing payment schedules and verifying invoices from suppliers.
- Collaborate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods and manage shipping and delivery issues.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in procurement (e.g., CIPS) are a plus.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems.
- Problem-solving ability and a proactive attitude.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
