**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Ensuring Company owned and managed vessels are operated as per contractual requirement in a safe, efficient and economical manner in full compliance with best operational and industry practices.
Liaising with Ship Management, Commercial and vessel Masters and monitor that certification in place as per contract.
Undertake vessel visit to monitor compliance for equipment and liaise with Marine and Crew Dept. to meet contractual requirements and industry requirements
Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing enhancement of process efficiency, cost reduction, and profitability through structured performance management and action plans involving employees, suppliers, and network partners.
Review contract status report and advising Ship Management for the necessary requirement.
Risk Management: Support project planning, conduct risk assessments, and contribute to the execution of operations to ensure successful outcomes
Contractual Compliance: Ensure all services rendered to internal/external clients adhere to Milaha processes, procedures, and contractual obligations.
Safety and Legal Compliance: Guarantee consistent adherence to safety regulations and legal standards in all operations, aiming for safe and legally compliant performance standards.
Incident Investigation: Collaborate with HSSEQ Specialist to conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses, ensuring lessons learned are integrated into operations for continuous improvement.
Adherence to Maritime Regulations: Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, classification society standards, and environmental guidelines across all operational aspects.
Performance Evaluation: Establish and analyze performance metrics to assess and enhance the efficiency of barge operations, identifying areas for improvement.
Reporting and Verification: Report to the Asset Integrity Manager, verifying contract compliance with end clients and ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison with clients, building professional relationships with key stakeholders in client organizations.
Resource Planning: Provide recommendations on necessary resources for assigned tasks and activities, supporting efficient and effective operations.
Marketing Support: Assist in the marketing efforts for Milaha-owned and third-party Vessels contributing to business growth initiatives.
Vessel Maintenance Supervision: Oversee and manage the schedules for maintenance, dry-docking, and repairs of owned and 3rd party vessels to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety standards.
Technical Guidance: Provide expertise in marine engineering principles, offering technical guidance to optimize barge performance and reliability.
Emergency Response Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive emergency response plans for various scenarios at sea, ensuring preparedness and adherence to safety protocols.
Taking over new Build vessels or Inspection of vessels or facilitate inspection through 3rd party as required by the Management.
Assisting in internal and external audits of vessels.
Liaise with internal OVID inspections (Ship Management) of vessels to prepare for all charterers.

**Qualifications**

**Education & Professional Qualification**:
Master Mariner / Marine Chief Eng. with Offshore background.
**Professional Experience**:
6-8 years experience in offshore operations. Knowledge offshore vessel certification, maintenance, including dry-docking, repair, and maintenance.
**Computer and Language Skills**:
Minimum 3 - 5 years of GCC/Middle East experience. International experience and working in a multi-national environment is preferred. Business & Technical fluent English. - Knowledge of overall system workflow design
**Market / Industry / Functional Knowledge**:

- Good Knowledge of offshore operations. Overall knowledge of Oil and Gas operations; Good knowledge of technical and commercial aspects of contract management

**Related Professional Training, Certification, or Membership**
**Mandatory**: Master Mariner or Marine chief Engineer
**Preferred**: Office/ Onshore based experience,
