Strong geological and hydrogeological expertise.

Based in our office in Doha, Qatar as a Principle Hydrogeologist with a minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience, you will be involved in a wide range of water resources and environmental projects. Your duties will include both office and fieldwork. You should have the willingness and flexibility to undertake occasional regional travel and assignments when required.

This position serves high-level and timely execution of projects and supports the service line manager and company’s management

**Core Activities**

Plan, execute, and supervise field programs for feasibility and groundwater studies, Environmental Impact Assessments, permitting support, and technical and interpretative reporting

Hydrogeological fieldwork (site reconnaissance, groundwater monitoring, and sampling, hydraulic well/aquifer testing):

- Perform hydrogeological assessments including data collection, interpretation and on-site quality assurance activities
- Supervision of groundwater sampling activities

Field data review, analysis, and interpretation of water quality studies and assessment, hydrogeochemistry, pumping and hydraulic response test:
Hydrogeological aquifer characterization and resource assessment

GIS-based data management

Data management including quality control procedure implementation

Analytical / numerical groundwater model development

Pumping test planning, analysis, data interpretation and reporting

Plan, execute, supervise groundwater relates studies, including numerical modeling, site data collection campaigns, desk studies, reporting, client management, interim progress and data presentation. Finalise and close projects both technically and financially.

Make site visits, prepare and write technical reports, contribute preparing scope & proposals, and presentations as necessary

Provide coaching and mentoring to junior level staff and field teams

Perform project management duties including, developing budgets, determining project scope, and establishing schedules, and other duties required to ensure quality and profitability

Timely execution of projects in accordance with quality, cost and safety standards, in close consultation with the service line manager and associated project managers

Technical lead in hydrogeological and environmental projects

Cooperation with other service lines and project-related subcontractors or project partners

Technical field and office work, compiling of project documentations and further task-specific documents

Further training, obligation to provide control and information on projects and procedures towards the superior

Compliance with health and safety requirements, presentation of suggestions for improvement, assurance of quality and environmental standards according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001
