FIELD OPERATIONS (IDD EL-SHARGI)

**Primary purpose of job**
Supervise all Idd El-Shargi Asset Integrity activities offshore (PS-1, Remote platforms and Halul) and ensure that all

inspectors and contractor personnel comply with QatarEnergy safety guidelines and procedures.

Ensure that all inspection and coating refurbishment activities are carried out according to prescribed plan and standards

and reports all anomalies and deficiencies.

**Experience & Skills**
Qualifications & Knowledge:

- Knowledge and competent in NDT / Advanced NDT techniques (UT, MT, PT, RT, PAUT, ECT, LRUT, AE and MFL).

Having valid certification is preferable.
- Knowledge in Plant inspection, Coating inspection, welding inspection. Having valid certification is preferable.
- Knowledge of international inspection and compliance codes/jurisdictional codes desirable. (API and ASME). Having valid

certification is preferable.
- Familiar with SAP

**Skills**:

- Should be well versed with MS office and computer skills, fluent in English and capable of running asset integrity related

inspection data and corrosion management systems.
- Strong and effective communication skills.
- Strong consultancy skills, professional, self-motivated and a team player.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and demonstrate initiative to resolve problems.

**Experience**:

- Minimum Ten (10) years of professional experience in managing a team of inspectors in Oil & Gas Industry in offshore

environment.
- Knowledge of international inspection and compliance codes/jurisdictional codes desirable.
- Should have multi-discipline skill set and good understanding of inspection and coating practices and standards.

**Education**:

- BSc or equivalent degree in Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
