**Job Description**:
**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Anantara employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

- Reports to Director of Marine Transportation
- Responsible of posting weather forecast and dock walk reports daily.
- Respond to guest requests, comments, and concerns in a timely manner
- Confirm guest registration and other required documents prior to issuing resort property
- Monitor store inventory in order to minimize the loss of resort property
- Coordination of guest private boat arrivals and departures and reporting and following up on all maintenance and health and safety issues.
- Prioritize safety procedures when operating vessels, controlling speed,
- Docking and undocking, giving optimal protection to crew and equipment
- Maintain both boat and marina log books
- Ensure fuel reports and monthly maintenance reports are documented accurately and shared with necessary departments in a timely manner
- Liaising with port authorities and coast guards on guest boat arrivals and departures
- Coordinate staff rostering and team allocation, handling marina admin related tasks;
- Following up with Purchasing department etc. for related marina requirements with departmental coordinator.
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding department budgets by creating, implementing and promoting innovative business opportunities and working closely with other departments and the port authorities to ensure adherence to government rules and regulations.
- Managing the day to day running of the Marina operations while ensuring all site safety requirements within the marina
- Completing admin tasks and lasing with port authorities when necessary.
- Maintain bunkering report and marina revenue reports on a daily basis.
- Setting up and implementing all SOP’s, Risk Assessments, policies and procedures of the Marina operations.
- Conforms to all corporate and marina policies and procedures, ensuring that all marina staff conduct their duties in the same manner
- Meets established quality standards for all marina related operations; ensures the recognized standards are maintained and that quality and delivery commitments are met
- Ensure and supervise day to day attendant are accurate as well as the work hours of the marina team.
- Operate Rescue boats during the medical emergencies and patrolling around the island to check the intruder boats.
- Supervise and allocate marina team to check all the jetties at the island and report the maintenance issues.
- Ensure and allocate marina team to check and maintain on the parameters of the island, buoys and there locations.
- Supervise all the boats berth at the island jetties and secure them safely, keep them clean.
- Ensure 3 rescue boats and 3 pontoons are maintained well and reporting maintenance issues and get them rectify in time.
- Responsible as Department representative for the resort safety Committee.
- Ensure to train the team with day to day safety scopes, equipment handling and cleanliness on the jetties.

**Qualifications**:

- With 2 to 5 years of experience in the same field
- With good English communication skills
- With good technical skills
- With pleasing personality
- Ability to handle pressure at work
- Ability to multi-task
