Qualification: A University bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with proficiency in English Language.
- Experience: +9 years in a major power/ industry Utility Organization / engineering firm/ contracting company with experience in construction, and maintenance for a wide range of civil engineering projects, especially the civil work of the electrical power substations.
Read and understand the project specifications & drawings as per client guidelines and industry standards for various utility jobs.

Oversee and manage the daily engineering work at different operational stages at a construction site.

Investigate and verify the quality of materials and services used in the construction of civil engineering work.

Supervise and be involved in every stage of the construction and site work process and ensure that operations for client needs are satisfactory and meet industry, client, and internal quality standards.

Monitor, plan and ensure that quality assurance procedures and plans are developed for the company's projects.

Create, maintain, and update records for all quality sheets and documentation; plan to record and register all construction quality elements.

Check the quality and storage of materials like cement, sand, aggregate, and steel, concrete quality tests include cube testing, concrete temperature, slum testing, and concrete vibration, other checking details are that the material should be stored in a dry place, its condition should be checked, and its connectivity should be close to the construction site.

Maintain Daily Records, interact with and oversee all QA/QC on-site workers as well as operational difficulties.

Ensure and maintain the implementation of the quality assurance policy and project quality plan are followed at all stages of construction, including handover and commissioning. Inspections of materials obtained from suppliers, as well as the effective implementation and compliance of the quality control system at project sites.

Coordinate with client-/ / client appointed quality inspection teams to handle complicated QA/QC concerns by communicating with project managers to ensure that a quality plan and construction plan are deployed. Train workers and engineers to guarantee that regular project visits are made to enhance and train quality control personnel.

Provide reports to the project management team.

Supervise, coordinate, communicate and consult with the project site team, and contractors on maintaining all necessary QA/QC procedures and specifications on the daily site activities. Moreover, sort out any work issues that may arise on site.

Attend follow-up meetings with customers, inspection agencies and other involved parties.

Drive continuous follow up, supervision and monitoring process across engineering and construction functions for different sites.

Secure and maintain Power Systems safety rules within substations and sites.

Follow and implement plans and check construction for conformance with the client and state standards and specifications.

Comply with project QA/QC procedures.

Demonstrate site leadership skills and the ability to work well in team situations; be willing and able to lead and participate in cross-functional teams as required.
