Seinor Accountant

**Responsibilities**:

- Has an experience in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. Ensure all financial and accounting transactions are recorded in compliance with QMA's accounting procedures and IFRS.
- Can manage the books of accounts and ensure they are kept up-to-date. All accounting transactions should be properly checked and reviewed.
- Intercompany reconciliations should be up to date.
- Aid the line Manager/Head on General Ledger related matters or any requested matters when required.
- Define and maintain Chart of Accounts. Analyze impact of General Ledger Maintenance Activity Request on the current COA and respective balances within other accounts.
- Has the ability to analyze and develop required reports and statistics.
- Implement accounting system, procedures, and internal controls. Propose enhancements as necessary.
- Ensure overall compliance with QMA's accounting procedures and IFRS. Aid the Head/Senior in reporting.
- Review PRs/POs and monitor budget sheets for certain business units and also review bank payments.
- Analyze transactions, determine accuracy, ensure completeness, and compliance to established policies and procedures.
- Provide Ad-Hoc assistance as and when required.
- Experience in insurance field is a plus.

**Job Requirements**:

- Has a Master's Degree or Certification/Specialization (ACCA/CPA/CMA Preferred).
- Has 6 - 8 years relevant experience.

**Salary**: Up to QAR8,000.00 per month
