Cake Decorator

Write messages or names on cakes using icing, fondant, or other edible writing mediums. Create aesthetically pleasing text with attention to legibility, font style, and design, ensure messages are consistent with the overall theme and the customer's request (e.g., "Happy Birthday," wedding messages, or special occasions).
- Decorate cakes with icing, fondant, edible decorations, piping, and other cake embellishments. Ensure designs are visually appealing, artistic, and high quality.
- Assist in preparing and baking cakes as needed, including mixing ingredients and measuring portions.
- Ensure cakes are cooled and ready for decorating.
- Understand customer's specific preferences, themes, and color schemes.
- Provide suggestions and expert advice on decoration ideas, designs, and flavors.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, accuracy, and consistency in all aspects of cake decoration.
- Pay attention to the details of the decoration, ensuring symmetry, balance, and a polished finish.
- Manage multiple projects with deadlines, ensuring timely completion for events and deliveries.
- Work efficiently to complete intricate designs within the required timeframes.
- Use cake-decorating tools like piping bags, spatulas, stencils, and molds to achieve desired designs.
- Maintain and clean decorating tools and work areas.
- Ensure cakes are delivered in perfect condition and meet the client’s expectations.
- Handle any issues or concerns from customers promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all cakes meet food safety and quality standards.
- Make sure cakes are fresh, aesthetically pleasing, and in line with customer specifications.
