Join EPAM as a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL: in this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality PL/SQL code to meet project requirements. You will collaborate closely with the project team and our client, a prestigious international company based in Qatar, to understand and address their technical requirements. Exceptional technical expertise in Oracle technologies and outstanding communication skills are essential for success in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, enhance, and maintain PL/SQL code to fulfill project requirements, ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions
- Collaborate with the project team and customers to gather and analyze technical requirements, providing valuable insights and recommendations
- Design, develop, and optimize database structures, procedures, and functions to enhance system performance and reliability
- Perform unit testing and debugging of PL/SQL code to identify and resolve any issues or bugs
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines
- Contribute to the overall architecture and design of database solutions, leveraging your strong technical expertise in Oracle technologies
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Oracle technologies, continuously expanding your knowledge and skills

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects involving complex PL/SQL development
- Strong understanding of database concepts, SQL optimization techniques, and performance tuning
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Experience with other Oracle technologies such as Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle APEX is a plus
- Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate) are advantageous

ADDITIONAL
- You will be working on site, from our client's office in Doha
- The working schedule is 5 days a week, from Sunday to Thursday (In Qatar, weekend is Friday to Saturday)
