**Job Descriptions**:
At Zulal Wellness Resort by Chiva-Som, we welcome individuals who are excited to join our unique wellbeing haven. Set to be Qatar’s largest wellness destination and the Middle East’s first wellbeing resort, located in Khasooma, a private coastal location at the north of Qatar.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Developing and implementing the standard operating policies and procedures for the Engineering department while ensuring their compliance with the company’s policies, health and safety standards, and local laws. Continuously challenge the policies and procedures to ensure maximized results.

Effectively following through on the progress of the construction of the resort liaising with contractors, vendors, and owners to ensure deadlines are met.

Continuously assessing and challenging the standards and quality of the construction of the resort, the facilities and equipment and report to GM, owners and contractors any concerns or action required.

Evaluating all energy systems, e.g., air conditioning, electrical, and water for evaluation of potential upgrading, repair or maintenance.

Providing professional technical consultancy services to management regarding the repair and maintenance of existing buildings and facilities, and the renovation, extension or construction of new facilities.

Monitoring requisitioning, storage and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies.

Ensuring the construction of the resort is completed properly and according to safety regulations and high-quality standards.

**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical is preferred.
Knowledge of swimming pools and water systems.
Proven experience in maintenance or engineering in a resort/hotel.
Strategic thinking to align engineering efforts with the overall business objectives and long-term goals.
Skill in building high-performing engineering teams, fostering a collaborative culture, and developing talent.
Knowledge of industry regulations and the ability to ensure compliance in engineering projects.
Sound decision-making skills, considering both technical and business implications.
Adherence to ethical standards and a commitment to responsible engineering practices.
