Electrical Forman

Should have at least a 3 year engineering diploma to ONC or equivalent standard in either Mechanical/ Structural/ Marine offshore Engineering discipline. He should be experienced in the identification of materials utilized by the maintenance crews, ensuring that the necessary documentation, such as, material certificates etc. are in order. Dimensional checking and the production of as built drawings as required, in addition to work experience on ship access hydraulic gangways. Knowledge in identifying the hose/fitting types and interpret the drawings. Any other technical assistance that may be required in the execution of heat treatment, hydro testing and other specialized operation is required. Should have the ability to work under maintenance supervisor to assist him on the day-to-day operations undertaken by the maintenance team. He must be able to read and communicate in the English language. Should have at least five (5) years experience as a lead worker preferably in a port/shipyard SPM or other marine facility.
