Senior Visual Merchandiser

The Senior Visual Merchandiser is responsible for implementing strategies through visual merchandising to increase sales, get customers attentions and to provide an excellent in-store experience. The objective is to convert footfall into prospect drive branding and sales objectives and maximize profitability.

Define, design and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy

Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store

Create a visual merchandising guidelines and effective planograms

Produce floor, wall displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans and special promotions displays

Identify key messages and set a clear image of the end result.

Come up with, revise and present design ideas with retail management.

Act in alignment to the organization’s culture, products, image and target market.

Monitor costs and work within budget

Oversee the production and brief staff on arranging and understanding the displays

Change displays to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes

Liaise with suppliers and source elements

Investigating market trends and offering products that would appeal to customers.

Research lifestyle, demographics and design trends

Education: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent

Technical Skills: - Good knowledge of visual merchandising and graphic designing
- Expertise in visual merchandising - Gen Merchandise, Novelties and Lifestyle fashion
- Solid work experience in field visual merchandising, floor displays, signs, interior designs and space utilizations.
- Proficiency in photoshop and illustrator or other visual design tools.
- Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports and best practices.

Industry Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in the same field

Management Skills: - 3-5 years’ experience in a similar field at supervisory capacity
- Demonstrated leadership experience building a team and leading them to achieve annual revenue goal

Technology Skills: Technical ability and knowledge of computer software and hardware with an enthusiastic approach to expanding knowledge of all toys, apparel, gaming, hardware, software and systems.

Language Skills: English languages proficiency. Knowledge and practice of Arabic language is a plus.

Communication Skills: Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
