Carpenter

**Job Brief**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Structural Assembly & Installation**: Build, install, and repair structures and fixtures, such as framing, flooring, doors, cabinets, partitions, and scaffolding, following detailed blueprints or instructions.
- **Material Measurement & Cutting**: Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials to ensure precision in projects.
- **Maintenance & Repair**: Inspect and maintain existing structures, performing repairs as needed to ensure safety and quality.
- **Equipment Use**: Operate and maintain carpentry tools and machinery, including saws, drills, hammers, and nail guns, in a safe and efficient manner.
- **Site Cleanup**: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, clearing debris and organizing tools and materials.
- **Client Communication**: Work closely with clients or supervisors to understand project requirements and ensure quality standards are met.

**Job Requirements**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or an apprenticeship in carpentry is a plus.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-4 years of proven experience as a carpenter in construction or maintenance settings.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in using carpentry tools, power equipment, and other materials.
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong eye for detail to ensure accuracy in measurements and quality in finishing.
- **Knowledge of Safety Standards**: Familiarity with safety guidelines and regulations related to carpentry and construction.
- **Communication Skills**: Basic verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork and understanding project instructions.
