A Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background and expertise in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of mechanical engineering projects.

QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the quality management system (QMS) is fully implemented in an organized and efficient manner. The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for working closely with other engineers and related construction, fabrication, and repair departments.

**Job Title: QAQC Engineer - Mechanical Engineer with HSE Background**

**Job Summary**:As a QAQC Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background and expertise in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), you will be responsible for overseeing the quality, safety, and compliance aspects of mechanical engineering projects. You will work closely with project teams to ensure that all mechanical systems meet the required standards and that HSE protocols are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.

As a QAQC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical engineering projects. You'll perform inspections, conduct quality checks, and oversee HSE standards to maintain project quality and safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Quality Assurance and Control**:Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards for mechanical engineering projects.
Conduct inspections and quality checks on mechanical systems, equipment, and components to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot quality-related issues, recommending corrective actions.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for mechanical systems.
- Perform inspections, troubleshoot quality issues, and recommend corrective actions.

**Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)**:Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with all relevant HSE regulations and guidelines.
Conduct HSE risk assessments and safety audits on project sites.
Develop and implement HSE training programs and ensure that all personnel are adequately trained on safety protocols.

**Documentation and Reporting**:Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and HSE assessments.
Generate quality and safety reports to track project progress and compliance with standards.
Communicate findings and recommendations to project management and stakeholders.

**Quality Improvement**:Continuously identify opportunities for quality improvement in mechanical systems and processes.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and best practices.

**Compliance and Regulatory Affairs**:Stay updated on relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations related to mechanical engineering and HSE.
Ensure that projects meet all legal and regulatory requirements.

**Supplier and Vendor Relations**:Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain and improve the quality of materials and components used in projects.
Perform supplier audits to assess their quality and safety practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Certification or training in HSE is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in quality assurance and control in a mechanical engineering context.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools for quality management.

**Experience**:

- Typically, at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, quality control, and HSE.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: QAR4,000.00 - QAR8,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
