Doha, Qatar EMCOR FACILITIES SERVICES WLL Full time

To provide a professional and effective Landscaping and Horticultural Supervision for the facilities team and project department.
- Landscaping Designing and Indoor & Outdoor Landscaping Management.
- Liaise on a daily basis with the project team, to ensure all work planned is carried out in the required order depending on season or time of day.
- Supervise the daily activities of the team and sub-contractors. Ensure optimal use of manpower and resources.
- Preparation and submission of quotations and estimates. Liaise with technicians to ensure the accuracy of quotations and estimates.
- Respond in a prompt and efficient manner to all reactive issues and help desk requests.
- Report to the manager on job progress and issues on a daily basis.
- Accurate monitoring daily of hours booked and clocked hours.
- Arrange for site inspection from time to time to monitor standard of work and completion schedule.
- Coordinate with other teams ensuring satisfactory completion of all work requests
- Flexibility to work to shift patterns as and when required. Flexible availability for 24/7 rostered standby duties and emergency call-outs.
- Administration and clerical responsibilities as required by job.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Maintain a safe place of work. Immediately notify the manager of any safety issues or concerns.
- Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance. The uniform must be worn and should be clean and in a good state of repair.
- Encourage employees to support the operational business objectives by sharing knowledge and to develop a creative approach to their work and to think outside the box‟.
- Material ordering and administration
- Monitor performance levels of employees you are responsible for. Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance Indicators.
- Strong teamwork ethic and promotion of customer service excellence.
- Demonstrate leadership and management.
- Proactively manage and take ownership of issues. Seek equitable and creative solutions to problems.

**Education / Qualifications**:

- Minimum Diploma degree or Bachelors in horticulture/agriculture or landscaping engineering qualification.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory role within a facilities management environment with experience of technically complex and multi-disciplined sites.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in landscaping facilities management.
- Excellent time management skills and able work to strict deadlines.

**Job Knowledge & Skills**:

- Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Prompt response to queries in writing or by telephone.
- Effective organizer and implementer. Ability to provide a high standard of administrative support.
- Able to implement administrative processes and pro-actively resolve problems.
- The motivational and ambitious leader with the ability to drive change in business and performance management processes.
- Experienced user of software packages including MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Office. Also a good understanding of BMS (Building Management Systems) and CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Management Systems). Designing Softwares.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Fluent English language ability both spoken and written.
- Professional and smart appearance at all times.
- **Preferrable with Driving License.**
