Icss Engineer

**Job description**:
We have a new contract opening for an ICSS Engineer working with a major Oil and Gas client. The position will be based in Doha, Qatar before potentially moving overseas (to be discussed at interview) - this is a residential role, 5 days per week.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Qualification: Engineering degree in Instrument and Control engineering.
- Experience: Strong experience as ICSS Engineer in Offshore Oil and Gas industry.
- Strong engineering knowledge of ICSS design and execution, package interfaces for control & safety system, and tie-ins methodology on existing operating field
- Computer literate, especially in AVEVA products.
- Strong leadership skills and good communication skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Familiar with Total general specifications is a plus, and with relevant codes and standards
- Language: fluent English
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.

**WORK SCOPE**

The post holder will ensure Engineering Dossier are delivered with a robust ICSS engineering definition and fit for purpose design that can be procured, fabricated, transported, installed, and operated safely, meeting the requirements of Company standard, project basis of design, and SOR.

The scope will involve projects that would be executed in parallel over the period of 6 years with CAPEX investment of several Billions USD. Project consists of the below features that are to be executed through several EPCIC contracts in parallel
- New Wellhead Platforms: 9 WHP of different types
- New Riser Platform, bridge linked to existing platforms
- Brownfield Modifications
- New Central Processing Facility: circa 26 kt + Flare Tower.
- Living quarter
- New pipelines between WHP, CPF and existing facilities,
- Potential of additional pipeline/equipment linked to debottlenecking of existing facilities, Water Alternate Gas, Electrical submerged pumps,

**DUTIES**
- Ensure Engineering Dossier is delivered with a robust ICSS engineering definition and fit for purpose design that can be procured, fabricated, transported, installed, and operated safely, meeting the requirements of Company standard, project basis of design, and SOR
- Thorough, efficient, and timely review of project ICSS discipline documents, realization of potential derogations to the standards, and challenge the design to achieve an optimize and fit for purpose outcome
- Support project studies and meetings related to the ICSS discipline as per project approved gate levels and design maturity
- Identifying potential risks and scope changes within the ICSS discipline, conducting initial impact assessment to provide detailed information to ICSS Lead.
