**Key responsibilities**
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies, food products, ingredients, packaging etc.
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Maintain an ongoing service standard at all times, respecting the recipes, presentation, portioning, cooking time, cooking temperatures and techniques.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Takes care of the shape, presentation, cleanliness and refill of the banquet’s buffets
- Correctly fill all ISO22000 documentation needed for the station/section the employee is responsible for. E.g. (“production sheet”, “cooking, baking and reheating”, “Freezer or chiller temperature”).
- Adhere and follow all personal hygiene and food safety practices according to HACCP training or ISO22000 standard.
**Key skills**
- Proven cooking experience in Baklawa preparation and cooking, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures and multiple baklawa recipes
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry’s best practices
- Positive character and personality, open to coaching, learning and improving
