Rixos Qetaifan Island North will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. **Job Description** AV Runner Technician**
- Fetch and carry items, such as equipment, tapes, and cable, and get everything in place for the event
- Help set up a location for an event, and make any necessary meeting room setup
- Follow up on the daily task list
- Set up, operate, maintain, and repair sound and video equipment for use in live events
- Transporting, setting up, and installing AV equipment and audiovisual support tools, including speakers, monitors, cameras, and equipment racks
- Developing good relationships with clients to keep production moving and to help out production or event coordinators
- Running tests on videos, audio, and signals and troubleshooting any problems that arise
- Meeting clients' standards by handling equipment malfunctions and executing a flawless event
- Disassembling equipment, wiring, and support tools in a safe manner
- Performing inventory management on equipment, wiring, and accessories
- Carrying out any cleaning, maintenance, or repairs on audio-visual equipment
- Follow-up on the equipment used during the event

- Safely store and handle audio-visual equipment to prevent damage or accidents.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry (5* Hotel or resort) or in AV Company
- Strong working knowledge of audiovisual equipment
- Good English and communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Friendly and approachable
- Ability and willingness to perform under stress
- Positive and high energy level
