GAS PROCESSING

Primary purpose of job

Supervises, directs, co-ordinates and participates in the activities of subordinate technicians / Contractor Technicians in the

installation, modification, maintenance and repair of a variety of standard and specialized instrumentation and Control /

Plant Safety System including all types of pneumatic, electrical, and electronic computer and instruments, automated

on-line process Analysers, Turbine and Compressor Auxiliaries / Field related Instrumentation on Turbine / Compressor

Control / Monitoring Systems, and alarm systems in workshops and on site. Also personally carries out more complex,

skilled, or diverse work, and performs various administrative duties for the unit, in any of the NGL 1/2/3/4 Plants, AGR /

SRU Facilities, NGL / Storage & Loading Areas within NGL Complex

Experience & Skills

8-10 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, repair and overhaul of a wide variety of pneumatic, electrical /

electronic field instrumentation and functional experience and understanding of working of Control / Plant Safety Systems.

Good working Knowledge of the Turbine and Compressor Operations and Auxiliaries Control, Analyser & Sampling

Systems, Marine Loading Arms Control is essential. Good understanding of process / process parameters.

Education

Completion of Secondary (12 years) education, followed by 2 years formal full-time training in Instrumentation, Control

Engineering or similar, three-Year Diploma in field of Instrumentation or equivalent. Should be proficient in working of SAP

PM /MM modules & its features. Shall be well conversant with computer for the routine day to day work. Fair spoken and

written English.
