Supermarket Purchase Manager

**Job description**
The Supermarket manager Manage department supervisors, Section and department in charge and other employees in the Supermarket, such as back-store and stockroom workers (Merchandizers), salesmen and in charge personnel. And his main duties are to plan and direct all phases of store operation as efficiently as possible in order to achieve maximum sales and profitability. To follow company policies, develop budgets, meet sales goals, and control costs in all departments.
- Cooperate with the management in the development of marketing programs and criteria to achieve sales goals.
- Staying updated with latest marketing trends and competitor activities.
- Supervise and manage the overall performance of staff at the supermarket.
- Analyzing, Reporting and giving recommendations and developing strategies on how to improve the sale.
- Implementing penalties and punishments for the indiscipline staffs to improving the overall discipline of the mall.
- Visiting warehouse and marketing in weekly basis.
- Manage the responsibilities for the growth and increase in the company.
- Review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for the management and budget departments.
- Coordinate advertising campaigns and sales magazines promotions, and prepare staff displays and advertising items.
- Evaluate current marketing program and recommended improvement.
- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the costumer’s complaint and determining the cause of the problem selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem expediting correction and adjustment following up ensure resolution.
- Examine staff to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed and that it functions as advertised provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Daily checking and approved such as GRN, LPO, transfer and adjustment & material request.
- Monitoring daily the GP sales report, Item availability by location, purchase target and bestselling report.
- Planning to the daily work schedule of the staffs by guiding them and dividing work amongst the staff.
- Maintaining customers relationship programs and track customers satisfaction
- Perfect dealing old and damage products to suppliers.
- Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives and procedures for the department.
- Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory services and quality goods.
- Enforce safety, health and security rules as to instruct staff about how to handle complicated situations.
- Purchasing items from Market to roastery section.
- Renting the palate and gondola as per supplier needs.
Skills and Abilities
- Previous job experience and at the same position for no less than 7 years.
- Strong customer service and sales skills.
- Must be able to sell entire product line.
- Strong administrative skills and knowledgeable with point of sale systems.
- Friendly and personable. Keeps a smile on. Enjoys working with the public.

**Salary**: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
