As a Landscape Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, planning, and implementing outdoor spaces to enhance the aesthetic appeal, functionality, and sustainability of landscapes. You will collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to create innovative designs that integrate natural elements, enhance environmental sustainability, and meet project objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Landscape Design: Develop creative and functional landscape designs that incorporate elements such as vegetation, hardscapes, water features, and site amenities.
- Site Analysis: Conduct site assessments to evaluate environmental conditions, site constraints, and opportunities, and use this information to inform design decisions.
- Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for landscape projects.
- Construction Oversight: Provide technical expertise and guidance during the construction phase to ensure that landscape designs are implemented accurately and according to specifications.
- Plant Selection and Installation: Select appropriate plant species based on site conditions, climate, and client preferences, and oversee the installation of vegetation to ensure proper planting techniques and care.
- Sustainable Practices: Integrate sustainable design principles into landscape projects, such as water conservation, native plant selection, and green infrastructure solutions.
- Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals, and provide recommendations and updates throughout the design and construction process.
- Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Obtain necessary permits and approvals for landscape projects, and ensure compliance with local regulations, zoning ordinances, and environmental requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality inspections to assess the performance and functionality of completed landscape projects, and address any issues or deficiencies as needed.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in landscape architecture and engineering, and pursue continuing education and professional development opportunities as appropriate.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Engineering, or related field.
- Professional licensure or eligibility for licensure preferred.
- Minimum of [number] years of experience in landscape design, planning, and construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.
- Strong knowledge of plant materials, horticulture, and landscape construction techniques.
