An **HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) Technician** is responsible for ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and operation of HDPE piping systems, which are commonly used in industries such as construction, water treatment, and oil and gas. Their work revolves around the handling, testing, and quality control of HDPE materials.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation and Maintenance**:

- Oversee the installation of HDPE pipes, fittings, and related systems.
- Ensure the proper fusion of HDPE pipe joints using appropriate equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on HDPE systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
- **Inspection and Testing**:

- Inspect and test HDPE pipes for defects or damages during and after installation.
- Conduct pressure tests, leak detection, and other relevant tests to verify system integrity.
- Document and report results of inspections and tests for quality control purposes.
- **Troubleshooting and Repair**:

- Identify and diagnose issues with HDPE systems (e.g., leaks, clogs, or misalignments).
- Provide troubleshooting and repair services to ensure optimal system functionality.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations when handling and working with HDPE materials.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, local codes, and environmental regulations.
- **Equipment Operation**:

- Operate and maintain fusion machines, extruders, and other equipment used in the installation of HDPE systems.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Keep accurate records of maintenance, installations, and repairs performed on HDPE systems.
- Prepare reports for supervisors or clients, detailing the work completed and any issues encountered.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other technicians to ensure proper system design and installation.
- Collaborate with other departments or teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Pay: From QAR3,000.00 per month
