**Job description**

**LV/11kV Cable Jointer **We are looking for a URGENT Vacancy for KAHRAMAA **LV/11kV Cable Jointer **should be required with 5+ years of experience.

**Requirements**:

- High School Certification, or preferably with applicable technical certification in Electrical field.
- More than 5+ years in a experience in similar role.
- If have driving license is an added advantage.
- Must have valid Cable Jointer license.
- Knowledge of type of Cables, construction of cables and Cable laying procedure.
- Familiarity, functional knowledge and usage of various Tools, Torque wrench, Crimping tool, Gas Torch, XLPE Remover, Cable spiking tool, Insulation Tester and AVO meter/Clamp on meter is required.
- Carries out maintenance work of LV/MV cables to ensure distribution network remains operational.
- Inspects and logs equipment performance and report any issues requiring attention of the
- Foreman
- Cable Jointing, based on inspection of distribution networks.
- Conducts all joint operations on all types of joints such as straight, tee, pot end and
- terminations (415V) as required.
- Conducts all joint operations on all types of joints such as straight, transition, Outdoor terminations, and Indoor terminations (LV/11kV/33KV) as required.
- Knowledge of house wiring and building wiring work.
- Laying, jointing and termination of underground power cable.
- Repair of underground power cable
- Conduct tests to check cable integrity and locate faults.
- Assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Responsible for the connection of wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

**Qualifications**:

- HSC, SSLC, or ITI
