Job Description:
As a Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in Indian and International Cuisine, you'll play a key role in our culinary team, responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that showcase the diverse flavors of both Indian and international cuisines. Your role involves working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to execute menu offerings, maintain food quality standards, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities:

- **Menu** **Execution**: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes from Indian and international cuisines, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts, following standardized recipes and specifications.Ensure consistency in flavor, appearance, and portion size of all dishes, adhering to quality standards set by the Head Chef.
- **Ingredient Preparation**: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, such as marinating meats, chopping vegetables, and preparing sauces, to support timely service and kitchen efficiency.
- **Cooking Techniques**: Utilize traditional Indian cooking techniques and international culinary methods to achieve authentic flavors and textures in dishes.Monitor cooking temperatures, cooking times, and ingredient proportions to ensure optimal food quality.
- **Station Management**: Manage your designated kitchen station effectively, organizing workstations, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Coordinate with other kitchen staff to prioritize tasks and maintain smooth workflow during peak service periods.
- **Quality** **Control**: Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and finished dishes to identify any deviations from recipe standards and take corrective action as needed. Uphold high standards of food presentation, paying attention to detail in plating and garnishing to enhance the dining experience.
- **Team** **Collaboration**: Collaborate with fellow chefs, line cooks, and kitchen assistants to coordinate food preparation, expedite orders, and meet service deadlines. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure seamless coordination and efficient service delivery.
- **Compliance** **and** **Safety**: Adhere to food safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and hygiene practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Follow proper storage procedures for ingredients, labeled containers, and rotation of perishable items to minimize waste and ensure freshness.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Line Cook specializing in Indian and international cuisines is required.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian culinary techniques, spices, and regional cuisines, as well as familiarity with international cooking methods and flavor profiles.
- Strong culinary skills and proficiency in preparing a variety of dishes, with a focus on quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen colleagues and communicate with front-of-house staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation practices is preferred.
- A passion for culinary excellence, creativity in menu development, and a commitment to delivering memorable dining experiences.
